Providing care for a person with a life-threatening illness can be challenging. Evergreen provides tools and supports to help make the job a little bit easier.
Finding time for self care is often a challenge for a caregiver. We offer trained volunteers for respite visits so that you can look after yourself too.
Drop-in Caregiver Support Group
Offered several times a month at several locations, drop-in support group meetings give opportunities for learning, sharing and support from other caregivers in the community. (See ‘Circle of Care’ and ‘Caregiver Support Group’ on our calendar)
Our staff will check in with you and provide resources and support over the phone when you can’t get out of the house.
