    • Massage
    • Speakers related to health promotion
    • Art and music therapy
  • Have a trained volunteer visit you at home or accompany you to activities
  • Work on Legacy activities
  • Practical assistance

For a family member or friend who is living with a life threatening illness, some services you may benefit from include:

  • Counseling and support related to a difficult diagnosis in a loved one
  • Assistance in navigating the health care system for your loved one
  • Suggestions and guidance on how to help your loved one

For a caregiver of a person who is living with a life threatening illness, some services you may benefit from include:

  • Support and counseling related to the pressures experienced by family caregivers
  • Support groups with others who are caring for their loved one
  • Caregiver relief through placement of a volunteer for a 4 hour shift in daytime or evening
  • Complimentary therapy to help you relax and rest
  • Anticipatory Grief counseling

For someone who has experienced the death of a loved one, some services you may benefit from include:

  • Grief and bereavement support/counseling
  • Support groups with others who are living with a similar loss
  • Memorial activities to remember your loved one
